MID-LEVEL: Remote Position

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead internal and external campaigns across digital and social media channels. This role is responsible for shaping strategic direction, optimizing breakthroughs, developing ideas, managing execution, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on brief, and to WRTHY’s high standards. 

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, bringing the right people in at the right moments to ensure expectations are not just met—but exceeded. This role blends strategy and execution. You’ll think big, manage details, and keep multiple workstreams moving without losing sight of the larger goals. You will report to the account leads across the business. 

This role entails: 

Strategic Development 

Lead the development of a social media and digital communications strategy for specific client projects and WRTHY’s owned channels.

  • Develop and own digital marketing strategy across channels (social, email, paid, web, content) for WRTHY and select client initiatives.
  • Align digital initiatives/social strategy with brand and business objectives, working closely with the relevant account team(s) and WRTHY leadership as relevant.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, experimentation, and differentiation - helping to optimize for breakthrough.
  • Use data and insights (social listening, relevant AI tools, competitive monitoring) to inform strategy/creative, help to ‘sell in’ ideas to relevant clients, and track performance against objectives.
  • Input into new business proposals and represent WRTHY at new business meetings as relevan.

Creative Collaboration and partnership

Contribute strategic and creative ideas for digital/social media campaigns, and ongoing content development in collaboration with relevant teams and under the guidance of our Chief Creative Officer

  • Ensure consistency and excellence across messaging, visuals, and content development for the channels you manage (notably WRTHY/Adapt2Win to start across social platforms).
  • Act as a brand steward—protecting and evolving the channel’s look, voice, and tone - ensuring ongoing alignment with the broader brand/marketing strategy in each case - with an eye to ethical best practice across channels

Execution & Optimization

  • Oversee campaign planning, execution, and performance tracking for WRTHY/Adapt2Win and select other initiatives 
  • Optimize content and campaigns based on performance, audience behavior, cultural moments, issue evolution/trends and tech advancements
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and priorities across the digital/social initiatives you lead in partnership with relevant account teams

Collaboration and best practice 

  • Work cross-functionally with relevant account teams, clients, partners and WRTHY leadership
  • Present ideas, strategies, and results clearly and persuasively internally and to clients
  • Share best practices across the WRTHY team. For example - prepare, distribute, or promote communications guidelines for staff to refer to when creating or publishing content; Organize trainings and briefings on specific new tools, channels or social media trends. Suggest external speakers
  • Mentor or collaborate with and/or manage team members and contributors as the workflow expands

What We’re Looking For

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in digital marketing/social media  marketing
  • Proven ability to build and execute digital strategies that drive both brand and performance
  • Strong creative judgment with a deep understanding of what works well in social media 
  • Experience leading campaigns from concept to launch
  • Data-literate and insight-driven, 
  • Passion for purpose-driven brands and culturally relevant marketing
  • Hands-on experience with content creation and content management tools
  • Experience building or scaling a brand’s digital presence

ENTRY LEVEL: Remote Position

The Internship Program is for current students or early-career professionals looking for an introduction into the social impact world in the areas of production, research & strategy, digital, design, or operations. This program provides direct interaction with and access to WRTHY’s projects and operations. We are looking for people who can inspire and challenge us as we grow  

Timing

The WRTHY Internship Program for Summer 2026 will start on June 01, 2026 and will end on August 15 , 2026. The WRTHY Interns will work from 10am-5pm. The amount of days per week are determined by you and the WRTHY coordinator.

General Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Marketing, BusinessManagement, Political Science, International Affairs, Communications or Computer Science.
  • Previous internship experience
  • Ability to legally work in the United States.
  • Full-time access to a laptop and/or desktop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help with developing research packets on areas of global health, gender equality, familyplanning, market-specific influencers and/or scalable social impact business models.
  • Researching ‘competitive’ campaigns and landscaping presentations. This will involve workingdirectly with project managers and reporting into project leads on each client account.
  • Develop weekly reports to help WRTHY keep our finger on the pulse of social, cultural andconsumer-driven trends.
  • Report to Operations & Marketing Manager and the Administrative Assistant to reviewworkflow status and prioritization.
  • Assist with operational support such as creating 2021 and 2022 events & speakingengagement calendar, data entry for tracking documentation and CRM database.
  • Project coordinator assistance: upkeep of status reports, scheduling of creative reviews,oversight of production schedules

What skills you'll bring:

  • Clear and effective communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of Zoom, Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to work alongside complex projects and nurture group collaboration.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines & be flexible to pivot when need be .
  • Positive outlook and attitude.
  • Excellent research skills.
  • Strong detail orientation and ability to take direction.
  • Passion for the causes we focus on (we mean it).
